I was fortunate to have been trained by highly successful and distinguished coaches as a student athlete. Even better, I've worded alongside some of those same reputable leaders in my hometown. As a head coach, I took what I learned from these individuals and settled into my own style of coaching that embodies commitment, hard work, and focus. I have worked with students of all ages and truly believe that every child is entitled to a healthy learning environment through promotion of physical activity. I take pride in my versatility and have a keen understanding of what is acceptable practice and deemed unacceptable behavior for an individual in this role.
Coaching philosophy
I am a Coach because of my passion for teaching skills, not only on the field, but off as well. I foster growth, guidance, and acceptance through the experiences my student-athletes partake in while under my supervision. I mold a group of individuals to communicate with a positive attitude, to be responsible not only in sports and academics, but life in general, and to hold themselves accountable for the decisions they make. I believe in nurturing their dreams. I am a motivator. I am a supporter. I am a shoulder. I am a reference. I am a lasting impression on a life that loves the game as much as I love to coach it!
